Yep– corporate logoed-hat, chinos, Jack Purcells and [...]

The Big Top tent of “my” circus is up at City Hall Plaza in Boston again– I saw it as I was crossing the plaza in the whipping cold rain, on my way to an interview, my raincoat flapping in time with the tent sides.

Because many schools’ distribution system makes clear who gets free lunch, either by way of separate lines, far more limited food choices, or the issuance of telltale “tickets” or other vouchers.
This isn’t a [...]

A couple of you asked how the Better Half and I met, so without further ado…
We met over 10 years ago (we’ve been married a little over 7) at a luncheon that my law school put on for admitted students. Sort of a “please come here” sales pitch. The BH had also gotten [...]

One perfect rose, originally uploaded by BipolarLawyerCook.
I’ve been meaning to hop on the Shutter Sisters bandwagon and join in Love Thursday– what better day to start than Valentine’s Day?
This rose grew on a rosebush down the street from our house. From May to November, this bush throws out one perfect rose, one [...]
